JC Diwakar Reddy Mocks Demand For Visakhapatnam Railway Zone

Visakhapatnam: A video of TDP MPs' mocking the demand of railway zone to Visakhapatnam has gone viral. In the video, Anakapalli MP Avanthi Srinivasa Rao is heard saying, “No zone is going to be sanctioned.”

Rajahmundry MP Murali said, “I want to lose 5kg.  If given a chance I will sit on the hunger strike for the railway zone.”This incident took place in June last year in Delhi. Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy is also seen talking in the video. These conversations have been recorded by someone and have been posted online.

Chief Minister was worried that this video might damage the image of the party in people and made all the MPs’ to release statements. Few said the lines were said in a lighter tone and few others added that their statements have been morphed.

Chandrababu claimed that this was a conspiracy hatched by BJP to defame the MPs from the party. He made all the MPs participate in a deeskha on 4 July in Gyanapuram. People in Visakhapatnam were left wondering as to what was going on.

Koyya Prasada Reddy remarked that the stand of TDP on the railway zone is evident looking at MP JC Diwkar Reddy’s statements. Chandrababu’s Dharma porata deeksha is also a political stunt and can be understood with the statements of Diwakar,said the YSRCP leader. It is Chandrababu, who has degraded the fight for Railway zone, Special Category Status and if only Chandrababu has integrity then he should dismiss JC Diwakar Reddy observed Prasada Reddy.

Exactly after eight months since the incident took place, TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy has again made comments on the railway zone issue. He said, if the railway zone is granted to Visakhapatnam then an edifice worth of Rs 10 crore will be constructed and 10 people will be employed as attendees in the office.

JC Diwakar added, knowingly or unknowingly the TDP leaders are sloganeering for the railway zone, but nothing is going to change if Visakhapatnam is made a railway zone.

Also present on the same dais were other MP who were seen talking the video in a mocking manner Avanthi Srinivasa Rao, Murali Mohan. Others included MP Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Rammohan Naidu, Sujana Chowdary, Maganti Babu, kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar.

Responding over the issue people of Visakhapatnam wondered when JC Diwakar Reddy was making such statements no people’s representative from the north Andhra have not even said a word against him.  TDP’s lack of integrity on the issue can be understood with such statements made by the party leaders.
