Chandrababu Benami CM Ramesh Behaving Like A Goon: GVL

Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP GVL Narasimha Rao stated that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP CM Ramesh was a benami of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking at a media conference here, the BJP leader demanded that Chandrababu apologize to the people of State for nominating CM Ramesh to the Rajya Sabha.

GVL demanded that CM Ramesh offer an explanation to the allegations levelled against him in the national media. "How could Chandrababu recommend a corrupt politician like CM Ramesh to the Public Accounts Committee? We will complain to the Ethics Committee against the TDP MP, who doesn't have the qualities of an MP, over his unparliamentary language and corrupt practices," he added.

IT Loot In AP By Nara Lokesh

By allotting lands to the IT companies in a non-transparent manner, CM Chandrababu and minister Nara Lokesh are looting the lands in the State, he alleged. Why are they refusing to give out the details on the land records when requested under the RTI Act? he demanded to know.

The BJP MP observed that Nara Lokesh was given the IT ministry to loot lands worth thousands of crores of rupees in the name of IT companies belonging to his benamis. All the details of land allocation and employment opportunities provided in those companies should be revealed in 24 hours, he demanded.

CM Ramesh Evaded Rs 100 Crore Tax

GVL criticized CM Ramesh's inclusion in the PAC despite being a tax evader and willful offender in businesses. Adding that CM Ramesh carried out dubious transactions in his own company, he felt that the stature of Parliament would be degraded with the presence of such persons in the PAC. The TDP MP is a classic example of the fact that there was no value system in the ruling party, he added.

The BJP MP predicted that the TDP would be washed out from the picture in the 2019 general elections. Unable to accept the reality, CM Ramesh is resorting to waging personal attack at people who criticize him. He is behaving like a street-side goon, he remarked.
