Chandrababu Is Directly Involved In Illegal Mining: Botsa

YSRCP senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Senior leader of YSR Congress Party Botsa Satyanarayana said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and local MLA Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao were directly involved in illegal mining in the state. Speaking to media at party's headquarters here today, if Chandrababu was sincere in his deeds, the AP CM should go for CBI probe into the rampant illegal mining that was happening in Guntur district, he said.

Botsa called upon the TDP government to take up the challenge thrown by YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with regard to illegal mining. It was unfortunate that the government officials were trying to save the real culprits and giving notices to divert the attention. He said that this one episode of illegal mining was a reflection of the level of corruption that was in vogue in AP over the last four years.

The YSRCP leader said that AP was witnessing huge rainfall over the last few days and people were suffering due to the incessant rain. He demanded that the government take up rescue and rehabilitation work in the flood hit areas. The TDP government was not concerned about the viral fever that was spreading like wild fire in north Andhra, he observed.

He further said that it was the responsibility of the ruling government to answer about the rain water leakages in state Secretariat. Earlier when questioned about leakage due to rain, the government covered it up by accusing that it was a ploy of the opposition. "Now what does the government have to say about the water leakage in the Secretariat now," he asked.
