3 Killed As Water Tanker, Car Collide In Krishna District

Vijayawada: Three people killed in a road accident at Pamarru in Krishna district when a water tanker and a car collided head-on on Thursday.

According to police, the victims were travelling to Vijayawada to attend a meeting in a car. When they reached Pamarru a water tanker from the opposite side rammed into the car. Three people including the car driver died on the spot.

The deceased are identified as Venkata Sivaram(52), correspondent of Bandar Bala Sai degree college, K. Moman Rao(64), principal of the degree college and driver Mohammad Fayaz(33).

Police registered a case and sent the bodies for postmortem.
