12 Persons Arrested in YSRCP Leader Narayana Reddy Murder Case  

In all, 12 accused in  in connection with the brutal murder of YSRCP leader and Pattikonda constituency in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy were presented before the media at SP office in Kurnool on Wednesday. - Sakshi Post

Kurnool: In a major breakthrough, 12 persons were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the brutal murder of YSRCP leader and Pattikonda constituency in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy. Another four accused in the case are absconding.

Narayana Reddy and his aide Sambasivudu were brutally done to death on Sunday while they were returning to their village after attending a wedding ceremony.

The police also recovered sickles and daggers used in the murder. The tractor belonging to prime accused (A1) Kuruva Ramanjaneyulu of Cherukulapadu village, which was used for killing Narayana Reddy, has already been seized. The tractor appears to be a new one and was not yet registered.

All the 12 accused were presented before the mediapersons at Kurnool district SP office. YSRCP chief and Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy demanded CBI inquiry into the case. He also sought Governor's intervention in curbing murder politics by the TDP government.
