he sequence of events clearly point out that the Sujana Choudhary met with the Governor after having a meeting with BJP national President Amit Shah and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely. Speaking to media here, Botsa said: “‘The sequence of events clearly point out that the Sujana Choudhary met with the Governor after having a meeting with BJP national President Amit Shah and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely. This comes close on the heels of a local court directing a reinvestigation into the cash for vote. Hence, the meetings with Governor, BJP President and Finance Minister were not about special status as it was told to the press.”

Botsa further said that there was no need for briefing the Governor on the special status as it was not a constitutional affair. “Any matter of public interest should be made public by the Governor’s office,” he said.
Botsa also demanded the Telangana government to clarify as to why no action was taken against Chandrababu Naidu whose name was mentioned numerous times in the charge-sheet of cash for vote case.

Botsa further said: “Telangana Chief Minister too had been very categorically stated that the noose is tightened and there is no escape route for Chandrababu Naidu. But things changed later and there was lull in the investigation process.”
