YSRCP Questions AP Govt For New Land Acquisition Move 

Hyderabad: YSRCP spokesperson Parthasarathy on Saturday expressed shock over TDP attack on YSRCP Vellampalli Srinivas's residence. Speaking to media persons, Parthasarathy said the TDP was acting in a despotic manner and was trying to attack the houses of the opposition leaders.

He said that the government was encouraging government employees to attack the houses of the opposition party. "The Government on one hand claims that no invester came forward to partner the development of Amaravati, but it is on a land acquisition spree in the capital region. It is trying to snatch away the lands belonging to the farmers by constituting a committee of ministers," he said.

Already the Government is facing flak for pooling 33000 acres for the capital city. Now it is pooling another 14000 acres for no reason. "Why is the government trying to acquire the land? What is the need?" he asked.

The YSRCP leader alleged that the AP CM is hatching plans to swindle crores of rupees in the name of dream capital city of Amaravati. He demanded that the government should seek for a CBI probe into the Vizag land scam.
