Soon after the victory, Ganguly was leaving the venue when the fans mobbed his car with many of them were seen waving flags as if giving a message that Pakistan would lift the Champions Trophy.

However, Ganguly politely asked the fans to give him space to leave the premises. India, which has cruised through after defeating the Bangladeshis in the semi-final, is looking upbeat.
