YSRCP Extends Full Support To Venkaiah Naidu

The YSRCP has extended its support to NDA's vice-presidential candidate M Venkaiah Naidu.

Soon after officially announcing Venkaiah Naidu's candidature, BJP national president Amit Shah telephoned YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and sought his support for Naidu.

In his response, YS Jagan reiterated his belief that the elections to the top constitutional posts in the country should be unanimous and underscored the need for the elected constitutional heads to act impartially. He said the YSRCP would support Venkaiah Naidu and added that his party would back him as he was a Telugu.

YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP V Vijay Sai Reddy on Tuesday met M Venkaiah Naidu and congratulated him on being chosen as the NDA vice-presidential nominee.
