YSRCP demands Naidu’s resignation - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress has said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu failed miserably in implementing the loan waiver scheme and has lost the moral responsibility to continue in office as his governance has been creating confusion and sending false signals on the issue.

“There is so much of confusion on the loan waiver scheme and no one knows who is eligible and who is not as he has been drastically cutting down the number of beneficiaries with every passing day  by a steady flow of statements aimed at shrinking the eligibility list,” YSRCLP Deputy floor leader Jyothula Nehru told reporters in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Beginning with the swearing- in ceremony, the 1.01 lakh crore agriculture and DWACRA loans were being constantly shrunk using some insipid methodology and his speeches at the Farmers’ Empowerment Committee meetings show that he has lost control over governance and is shirking from the responsibility of loan waiver.

“It is better if he makes way for some efficient person who will carry out the promises given in the manifesto in true spirit as Chandrababu Naidu has lost the moral ground to hold the high office after he backed out from the loan waiver has started stage-managed shows where farmers were parroting what the officials have told them.

One famer said that he received Rs 3.10 as loan waiver while another farmer has put the figure at Rs 95. The scale of finance has been used as a tool to slash the eligibility criteria. Chandrababu Naidu has also asked the farmers to repay the loans and he will reimburse the amount in five installments with 10 % interest. This shows the inefficiency of his governance and we demand that he implement the loan waiver in full or make way for others on moral grounds, Nehru said.

The Chief Minister has also failed in getting funds from the Centre though he is partner of the NDA coalition he has been insulting farmers time and again, he said.
