YS Jagan’s Secretariat Chamber Flooded Yet Again

Rain water leakage in YS Jagan’s AP Secretariat Chamber - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government's negligence was exposed yet again after water leakage was seen from the ceiling of the chamber of AP Leader of Opposition in AP Secretariat after heavy rains lashed the AP town. On Tuesday, heavy rains flooded the surrounding and premises of the AP Secretariat in Velagapudi. The entire Secretariat resembled a mini water bed with the rain water flooding the premises. Leakage was also seen in the waiting hall at Gate-2 of the Secretariat.

In June last year, a similar leakage happened at YS Jagan's chamber due to heavy rains. Water removal from the cabin turned out to be a daunting task then. After several protests from YSRCP, the Speaker ordered an inquiry into the matter. However, the inquiry committee closed the issue by giving a report stating water leakage had been caused by pipes which were cut.
