The letter from the YSRCP president was handed over to IG (law & order) Gupta in the DGP office by YSRCP spokesman P Gautam Reddy.

The YSRCP said that the Telugu Desam Party leader from Anantapur Paritala Sunita and her followers might try to scuttle the peaceful conduct of elections in Kanaganapalli.

Meanwhile, senior YSRCP leaders met the state election commissioner regarding the MPP elections. They handed a copy of the letter from YS Jagan and urged the commissioner to ensure impartial elections in Kanaganapalli. They stated that Anantapur TDP leader Paritala Sunita has fielded a candidate for the Kanaganapalli poll though the TDP does not have public support in the region.
