YS Jagan Seeks President Kovind’s Intervention on SCS

YSRCP MPs submitting memorandum to President Ramnath Kovind - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: YSR Congress Party MPs today called upon President Ramnath Kovind and submitted a letter requesting his urgent intervention to ensure that Andhra Pradesh gets Special Category Status. The five MPs—Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy (Nellore), YV Subba Reddy (Ongole), Varaprasad (Tirupati), P Midhun Reddy (Rajampet) and YS Avinash Reddy ( Cuddapah) who had resigned from Lok Sabha, explained the reason for taking the extreme step to the President. They also took this opportunity to elaborate upon YSRCP's relentless fight for the past four years to achieve Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh. The YSRCP MPs submitted a memorandum on the situation in the state, as also the aspirations of the people.

Backing the meeting of the YSRCP MPs with President Kovind, the party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to the popular social media network, Twitter,requesting the President to intervene and prevail upon the Central government to grant SCS to AP.
