YS Jagan Plea For Undisrupted Discussion On SCS To AP in Lok Sabha
The stalemate over Special Category States to Andhra Pradesh continues as Lok Sabha Adjourned following chaos by various political parties over No Confidence motion. Tuesday will be the third day the YSRCP MPs will express no confidence in Council of Ministers. Worried over the unproductivity of the Lower House following frequent adjournments, the AP Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has been relentlessly fighting to achieve special category status for the residuary Telugu state has appealed for an undisrupted discussion on SCS.
In a series of tweets shared this morning, YS Jagan also sought the cooperation of all the political parties in the House for the crucial discussion. Stating that Special Category Status would be a lifeline to Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP President reaffirmed his party's resolve to fight for the people of AP. He also requested the Centre to fulfill its promise made on the floor of the house as a precondition to bifurcate the state.
