YS Jagan meets Governor, raises issue of TDP-engineered defections

Hyderabad: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday met Governor ESL Narasimhan and raised the issue of the unethical political practices of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Accompanied by party senior leaders, YS Jagan called on the Governor at about 11 AM at Rajbhavan in Hyderabad. He told the Governor that the ruling TDP was luring the YSRCP MLAs with money and positions of power.
YS Jagan explained how the ruling Telugu Desam Party was engineering defections in Andhra Pradesh and how was using the kickbacks from the corrupt deals to lure the Opposition MLAs to defect.
Meanwhile, the YSRCP has launched 'Save Democracy,'an awareness drive on the TDP's machinations across the state. As part of it, the party workers will hold candle light processions on Saturday evening. Public meetings would also be held to highlight the misdeeds of the ruling party.
