Will Strive For North Andhra Development: Vijayasai Reddy

YSRCP General Secretary V Vijaysai Reddy - Sakshi Post

Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party National General Secretary V Vijayasai Reddy announced that he would strive for the development of North Andhra. He made this announcement after kicking off the Sangheebava Yatra here today, to extend his support to YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Praja Sankalpa Yatra.

Vijaysai Reddy said that during the padayatra he would meet people and understand their problems. He observed that none of the promises made during state's bifurcation have been fulfilled. "YSRCP had conducted many protest programmes demanding that the central government fulfill the promises made." The TDP-BJP alliance has cheated the state, he said and added that during the election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tiruptai had announced Special Category Status to AP for five years as well as Visakhapatnam Railway Zone. "Unfortunately none of them have been fulfilled, YS Jagan will continue his fight against central and state governments until the promises made are fulfilled."

He said that last year on July 8 at YSRCP Plenary, YS Jagan had clearly informed that only SCS to the state would be beneficial and he also introduced Navaratnalu for the benefit of people. "We are sure Navaratnalu will bring prosperity to the state, but to implement it resources are needed which can come only through SCS." Vijaysai Reddy called upon the YSRCP cadre to take Navaratnalu to the people and explain about the benefits it would provide to the state.
