Keesara Woman Dies In Mysterious Circumstances

Keesara: A newly married woman died under suspicious circumstances on Thursday evening near the RL Nagar under Keesara police station. As per reports, Narsimha and Anjamma from Ongole live in Kapra. Narsimha's daughter Sravani (20) got married to Ramanjaneyulu, a resident of RL Nagar, five months ago.

They gave gold jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh as dowry to Ramanjaneyulu during their marriage. A few days after their marriage, Anjaneyulu and his family members began harassing her for extra money. Sravani informed her parents about the bullying by her in-laws for extra dowry. Later. her parents offered to give another Rs 5 lakh rupees to him.

On Thursday morning, an altercation broke out between Sravani and Ramanjaneyulu. Severely depressed by this, she committed suicide by hanging herself in the bathroom and they immediately shifted her to Vijay hospital in Nagaram, where the doctors declared her brought dead. Sravani's parents and relatives expressed doubts over her death and informed the Keesara police.

CI Narender Goud reached the spot and shifted her body to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy. The cops took Anjaneyulu and his parents into custody.
