Hyderabad Police Rescue Three Abducted Babies, Seven Arrested For Kidnapping

Hyderabad: Police rescued three abducted babies including a month-old girl in Andhra Pradesh. Special teams of Hyderabad Police on Wednesday arrested seven people allegedly involved in trafficking of children. The gang was nabbed from different parts of Andhra Pradesh.

According to the details provided by the police, the prime accused V Gangadhar Reddy along with six others, including four women kidnapped the three babies from different parts of Hyderabad and Guntur district in AP. The police revealed that the babies were abducted between October 2018 and March this year and were sold in the range of Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3.10 lakh.

The accused were abducting minor children and selling them to childless couples. The rescued babies were handed over to their family members. The police are on the hunt to nab the other accused, who absconded.
