Sky Blue Hotel Fire Triggered By Cylinder Explosion?

Hyderabad: Sky Blue Hotel in Banjara Hills Road no 11 witnessed a major fire on the third floor, on Monday night.

The staff had moved themselves to a safer zone on noticing the flames. Fire tenders from Film Nagar and other areas rushed to the spot. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) ’s disaster response force had also made their way to the spot, as the fire-fighting operation was still on. Officials did not reveal the source of the fire, but sources say that a leak from one of the gas cylinders triggered the explosion. Investigations into the actual reason behind the explosion are underway.
