TDP leaders create ruckus in Nellore

TDP leaders have created ruckus in Nellore district during the day of election for the post of Chairperson of Zilla Parishad.

YSRCP has the clear majority to get the post. But, the TDP leaders are trying to get the post by hook or crook and thus creating fuss to postpone the election in any way.

The plan of TDP leaders is such that they can lure the ZPTCs of YSRCP if they have an additional time.

The TDP leaders started their violence immediately after the District Collector Srikanth entered the hall to conduct the election.

Venkatagiri MLA K.Ramakrishna went to the dais, abused the collector and has broken the mikes there. He demanded the collector to postpone the election if it was not conducted through secret ballot. Some other TDP leaders also joined him and tried their level best to postpone the election.

Collector sent a detailed report to the state election commission on the incidents that took place before him.

There are 46 mandals in the district. Of them, YSRCP got 31 ZPTC seats and TDP won in 15 seats.

The TDP leaders are trying to get the post by committing malpractices. But, the leaders of YSRCP are maintaining restraint irrespective of the provocating ways of the ruling party.
