Praja Sankalpa Yatra, A People’s Movement: YSRCP

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party MLA Buggana Rajendranath said that YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's historic walkathon Praja Sankalpa Yatra had turned into a people's movement mainly because of the gratitude that people had towards late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's family and also because of the lack of faith over Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's government.

The YSRCP MLA said that Chandrababu has been secretly forging agreements. He said in a press conference here today that the state had not signed any agreement with Singapore government for capital development. The state government had signed an agreement with private company, he said. He also demanded to know who had given permission to Chandrababu to give away lands to Singapore company.

Rajendranath said that Chandrababu was a master at misguiding people. He was surprised why the AP CM had started the Pattiseema instead of completing Polavaram project. All the sanctions and permissions were in place and nearly half of the work was also completed during the Dr YSR's regime. But from 2014 to 2016 the TDP chief never spared a a thought for Polavaram, he said.
