Wyra Gurukul School Students Corona Positive

A total of 28 girl students at gurukul school in Wyra tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday.  Out of 575 students in the school, 13 students were unwell in the last couple of days. So, the principal of the school called the medical and health department staff to examine the students. They conducted tests on them and about 28 students tested positive for COVID-19.

Later, the medical staff conducted tests on all the students. On Sunday, about 225 students were tested and the tests will be done to the remaining students on Monday as well. The students who tested positive for COVID-19 have been kept in separate rooms and the parents of them were worried. They rushed to the school and enquired about their health condition.

The coronavirus cases are being reported in various schools in many mandals of Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts including Mudigonda, Enkoor, Kallur, Dammapet, Aswaraopet, and Karepalli. District medical and health officer of Bhadradri Kothagudem district said the people should follow Covid-19 guidelines.

Telangana health minister T Harish Rao telephoned the district health authorities and enquired about the health condition of the students who tested positive. He ordered officials to take necessary action to contain the spread of coronavirus.
