 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Taking a strong view of the remarks made by the rebel MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy against the party and its leadership, top leaders of the Congress party are preparing to take action against the rebel party member. Upset with the criticism from Rajagopal Reddy, the Congress leadership has asked the rebel MLA to either mend his ways or quit the party.

Munugode MLA Rajagopal, who is continuously targetting the party ever since he met with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
remarked that Congress has scope of coming to power in state as BJP alone can defeat Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). He also remarked that if summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should appear before it.

Putting speculations to rest, Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar has confirmed that Rajagopal will soon join saffron camp. If Rajagopal decides to resign from Congress, a bye-election will be necessitated in Munugode Assembly constituency. And, the bye-election will help the saffron party to consolidate its strength in this region for quite some time.

On Thursday morning, senior Congress leader and party troubleshooter Digvijay Singh spoke to Rajagopal Reddy over phone and asked him to come to Delhi in two days. He assured that if there are any issues in the party, it will be discussed internally.
