BRS Leader Arrested for Forgery

Hyderabad police on Tuesday arrested the BRS leader Aravind Alishetty on allegations of cheating and forgery. Central Crime Station (CCS) officials arrested him from his residence in Hyderabad.
As per reports, Alishetty has duped a company of Rs 5 crore by allegedly forging the signatures of important leaders of the previous BRS government. Earlier, a Bengaluru-based company had approached the Hyderabad Police claiming Alishetty had taken Rs 5 crore from them by promising to give them the Mid-Day meals scheme contract in the state.
Based on the complaint, the CCS team started probing the case and subsequently arrested Alishetty for further investigation. It is also said the accused had even prepared a fake G.O. (Government Order) to deceive the company.
