India Out Of T20 World Cup 2022

T20 World Cup 2022 - Sakshi Post

The Men in Blue journey in the T20 World Cup 2022 has ended as England won by 10 wickets in the second semi-final on Thursday in Adelaide. England openers Alex Hales and Jos Buttler displayed how to bat in the powerplay during the T20 World Cup semi-finals against India. England's openers went all guns blazing against the Indian bowling attack.

Chasing the 168 target, Hales and Buttler smashed the bowlers all over the field, helping England to a 10-wicket win. The openers scored 170 runs in 16 overs to eliminate India from the tournament. The pair went on to score 63 runs in their powerplay, which was the same number of runs that India needed more than 10 overs to score.

Virat Kohli went on to make India's fourth half-century of the tournament and became the first hitter to achieve 4000 runs in T20 Internationals, but even his conservative approach on a decent batting ground must have pleased England. Kohli ultimately made 50 off 40 balls, hitting four fours and a six. Hardik Pandya was tuned in and played some stunning strokes to end with 63 off 33 balls.
