Twisha Sharma Death Case: CCTV Footage Shows Final Moments Before Tragedy

 - Sakshi Post

The investigation into the death of 31-year-old Twisha Sharma in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal has taken a new turn after CCTV visuals linked to the incident surfaced online. The footage, now circulating widely on social media platform X, reportedly captures the final moments before the tragic incident at her residence earlier this month.

Twisha’s death has sparked widespread anger, with her family accusing her husband and in-laws of subjecting her to continuous harassment over dowry-related demands. According to the family, she allegedly endured both emotional and physical abuse after marrying Samarth Singh on December 9 last year.

Authorities have formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine the allegations and determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

CCTV Footage Raises Fresh Questions

The viral CCTV clip reportedly shows Twisha walking toward the terrace area of the house shortly before the incident occurred. Nearly an hour later, her husband Samarth Singh, accompanied by two other men, is allegedly seen carrying her downstairs through the staircase.

The footage has become a key focus in the ongoing probe, as investigators examine the timeline and sequence of events leading up to her death.

CPR Attempts Captured On Camera

Another part of the video appears to show attempts being made to revive Twisha moments after she was brought downstairs. CPR was allegedly administered on the staircase in an effort to save her.

The visuals have added further attention to the case and intensified public demand for a thorough investigation into the incident.

Family Alleges CCTV Timing Discrepancy

Twisha Sharma’s family has also raised concerns regarding the timestamp visible in the CCTV footage. According to them, the date shown in the recording is inaccurate.

Family members claimed that while the footage displays May 10, the actual incident took place on May 12. Police officials are reportedly verifying the technical details of the CCTV system as part of the investigation.

Husband Absconding, Police Launch Search Operation

Meanwhile, accused husband Samarth Singh remains untraceable. Police teams have reportedly been deployed to locate him, and authorities have announced a reward for information leading to his arrest.

Speaking to reporters, Misrod ACP Rajneesh Kashyap confirmed that efforts were underway to track the accused.

In a related development, a local court has reserved its order on Samarth Singh’s anticipatory bail plea. His mother, retired judge Giribala Singh, has already secured anticipatory bail in connection with the case.
