Petrol and Diesel Prices Hiked Today, May 19: Check City-Wise Fuel Rates

Petrol and diesel prices in India increased once again on May 19, 2026. Oil companies raised fuel prices by around 90 paise per litre, marking the second fuel price hike within a week. The latest increase comes after a ₹3 hike announced a few days ago.
According to reports, the rise in fuel prices is mainly due to increasing global crude oil prices and ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Government officials said oil marketing companies have been facing heavy financial pressure because of rising import costs.
The fuel price hike has pushed petrol prices above ₹110 per litre in several cities, including Hyderabad and Patna. Experts say prices may continue to fluctuate depending on global crude oil trends and international market conditions.
