Vijay Thalapathy’s Jana Nayagan: Amazon Prime Bags Streaming Rights for RS 110 Crore – First Look Out

The much-anticipated first look poster of Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Jana Nayagan’ was finally unveiled on Thursday evening, sending waves of excitement among fans. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions, the movie is slated for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026.
In the poster, Vijay can be seen sporting a moustache, a blue shirt, and stylish shades, standing amidst a crowd of supporters. The makers captioned the reveal with a simple yet powerful line: “Let's Begin.”
According to the team, ‘Jana Nayagan’ aims to honor Vijay’s legacy, blending high-impact action, social themes, and the actor’s signature mass appeal. Fans have already created a buzz online about the poster, with excitement building over the movie’s graphics, themes, and Vijay’s larger-than-life persona.
Earlier this year, during Vijay’s birthday celebrations in June, the makers had released the first teaser titled ‘First Roar’. The 65-second clip featured Vijay in a police uniform, walking through a battle-like scene while holding a lathi, with his voiceover saying, “You guys will live in my heart.”
‘Jana Nayagan’ is expected to face a box-office clash with Prabhas-starrer ‘The Raja Saab’, making the January release highly competitive. In addition, Amazon Prime India has acquired the streaming rights for all Indian languages for ₹110 crores, ensuring fans can catch the movie online after its theatrical run.
With Vijay’s massive fan following and the intriguing mix of action and social storytelling, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about Tamil releases in recent years.
