Trivikram Srinivas Deserves Recognition For His Work!

The Indian film industry houses the finest acting, direction, and other related skills worldwide. It is where all those glamorous heroes get the limelight with various awards and laurels; whereas their mentors are forgotten as it is just their effort that crafts those stars to work under a vision for masterpieces in cinemas.

Among the highest civilian awards in India are the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan. Although a lot of veteran actors have been honoured with these awards, most directors are still being overlooked. K. Viswanath is one of the most renowned filmmakers in the industry. In 2017, he received the Padma Shri award. This happens rarely to a director.

Today, S.S. Rajamouli is one of the very few directors to have been conferred with a Padma Shri award in the current generation, but numerous other talented directors in the Telugu film industry deserve similar recognition. Some of the other examples include Sukumar, Trivikram Srinivas, Hanu Raghavapudi, and Nag Ashwin.

For example, Trivikram Srinivas is not only a good director but also a fine writer with a strong educational background. He has produced outstanding family entertainers that have connected with audiences across the country. Similarly, Sukumar has made films of national repute, Hanu Raghavapudi has created sensitive narratives like Sita Ramam, and Nag Ashwin's work has gone global.

Surprisingly, these directors have not been nominated for Padma awards yet. While it is not too late to recognize their contributions, it is essential to acknowledge the importance of directors in shaping the Indian film industry.

Directors are the ones who design great memorable characters and deliver great movies. They make the actors deliver their best and shape the script to what has to be. They can visualize the story to be told to an audience so it leaves them a lasting impact. It's high time they are recognized and given all the respect that they deserve.

In summary, though the faces of Indian cinema are its actors, directors are the backbones. Their contributions are vital and thus deserve recognition. When the importance of directors is recognized, the Indian film industry will be able to sustain itself to continue producing quality cinematic masterpieces that resonate throughout the country.
