Kim Woo-bin’s Black Knight - An Adaptation from Web Comic

 - Sakshi Post

On May 12, a new South Korean television series called 'Black Knight’ with the stars Kim Woo-bin, Song Seung-Heon, Esom, and Kang You-Seok will make its Netflix debut. 'Black Knight', which will soon make its TV premiere on Netflix, is based on the Lee Yun-kyun webcomic Taekbaegisa. The entire six-episode series will be released at once.

The plot of 'Black Knight' begins in 2071, when the Earth has almost become uninhabited due to a catastrophic change in air pollution. The Korean peninsula, where only 1% of people reside, depends on brave deliverymen known as "'Black Knight's" to carry them their daily essentials. Woo-bin performs the role of 5-8, a shady delivery man who reluctantly adopts the young Sa-Wol. Esom portrays Sa-wol's guardian Seol-ah, whose inquiry into mysterious deaths intersects with 5-8's own goal as they realize Cheonmyeong Group, society's purported benefactors, is actually causing more harm than good.

In the harsh and post-apocalyptic setting of 'Black Knight', not even the air is worth breathing. Due of the disastrous situation, viewers must witness human relationships thriving in order to cheer for the heroes to live and save the world. The 6-episode Netflix series struggles to calm down and let relationships grow because of these same circumstances, as well as the urgency of the battle against the strong Cheonmyeong Group.

Kim Woo-bin plays 5-8 in 'Black Knight', the strongest and most revered deliveryman. Kim does an outstanding job of capturing the hero's spirit with his beautiful looks and charm. The actor revealed that 5-8's experience as a refugee and a lone guy was something he tried to comprehend.

Kim Woo-bin, a Korean actor best known for his roles in Uncontrollably Fond and Inheritors, is scheduled to make a comeback with a future Netflix original series, which has K-drama fans giddy with excitement.
