 - Sakshi Post

It has been a long time since Vijay Antony scored a hit at the box office. Vijay Antony's last hit was Bichagadu, which was a humongous hit at the box office. He is back on the silver screen with the sequel Bichagadu 2. The first part worked due to the mother sentiment, while the sequel is all about the sister sentiment. Will Vijay Antony be able to impress the viewers with Bichagadu 2? Read on to know our review:

Plot: Vijay Gurumurthy (Vijay Antony ) is a billionaire, whose memory gets wiped out by his friends, who perform a brain transplantation of Satya (Vijay Antony). This brain transplantation leads to shocking consequences. Once in Vijay's body, Satya bares his noble motives, much to the shock of his partners.

Performances: Vijay Antony lives in his role. He looks stylish as Vijay. As Satya, he makes the audience feel his emotions. The actor failed to deliver some emotional moments in a few parts, though. Kavya Thapar looks good on the big screen. She is really gorgeous in a bikini.

Everyone else who has acted in the movie allows the hero to shine over them. Most of the actors are from Kollywood. In fact, almost all of them are from the Tamil film industry.

Plus Points:

The hear-touching sentimentality.
Excellent background music by Vijay Antony himself.
The lead man's performance.
The climax.
The premise.
The brain transplantation element.

Minus points:

There is a lag in the second half but the film is watchable.
The songs don't make an impact.
The resolution should have been believable.

Verdict: Watch it with low expectations, you may love it. The film has all the required commercial ingredients.
