Gold and Silver Prices Today, February 10: Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata City-Wise Rates
Gold and silver prices slipped on Tuesday after rising for two consecutive sessions, as the US dollar rebounded from a more than one-week low. Market participants are now focused on key US jobs and inflation data scheduled later this week, which could offer clearer cues on the future direction of interest rates.
MCX Gold and Silver Prices Today
Gold and silver futures traded lower in the domestic futures market. The March 5, 2026 gold contract (10 grams) moved between ₹1,55,050 and ₹1,55,997 before settling at ₹1,56,332, down ₹932 or 0.60%. Meanwhile, the April 2, 2026 gold contract declined by ₹862 or 0.55% to close at ₹1,58,066.
Silver futures also witnessed selling pressure. The February 27, 2026 silver contract (1 kg) traded in the range of ₹2,65,251 to ₹2,68,498 and ended at ₹2,70,370, down ₹3,330 or 1.23%. The March 5, 2026 silver contract slipped by ₹3,470 or 1.32% to close at ₹2,62,620.
Overall, both precious metals saw modest corrections during the session amid cautious global cues.
