Nara Lokesh Ignores NTR

 - Sakshi Post

Nara Lokesh's Yuva Galam Padayatra, which was restarted after a hiatus, is drawing a lukewarm response. The crowds are not showing interest in Lokesh's speeches. With this, TDP leaders are getting headaches in gathering crowds for Lokesh's yatra. The yatra is currently going on in Anakapalle.  Meanwhile, some TDP leaders and party workers raised slogans against ex-MLA Vangalapudi Anitha. Lokesh had a tough time handling these two groups within the party.

When Lokesh's Padayatra reached Payakaraopet Y Junction via Gautham Centre, Mangavaram Road, TDP leaders expected him to pay tributes to the statue of NTR, former CM, TDP founder and Lokesh's grandfather. TDP cadre expected Lokesh to garland the NTR statue. Whereas much to everyone's shock, Lokesh ignored the statue even though his yatra passed right in front of it. The Telugu brothers were upset that even after leaving their grandfather's statue, they did not offer floral garlands to his statue. Meanwhile, Lokesh reached the national highway passing through the statue and ignoring it.

Amidst this, TDP leaders are caught off-guard by this act of Nara Lokesh. On one side, TDP is banking on NTR's charisma and using his family members like Balakrishna and even Purandeswari (AP BJP chief) to gain political mileage, on the other side Nara family continues to snub Nandamuri's legacy.
