Kodali Nani's Class for Sharmila

 - Sakshi Post

Krishna dt: Former minister Kodali Nani launched a verbal attack against the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and AP Congress chief Sharmila. He said the Congress leader is unnecessarily targeting the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and in doing so she is unwittingly helping the cause of opposition parties ahead of ensuing elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a press conference here, the YSRCP leader said that the TDP is frustrated that it can no longer contest the elections on development plank because the party failed to develop the state during the TDP regime. He also said that the opposition leader lacks the support of people and is claiming to engineer defection in the ruling party while the fact is people who were expelled from the party are joining the opposition camp.

“The electorate had sent Naidu packing home in the 2019 Assembly elections. The TDP-Jana Sena combine would soon get into a firefighting mode following the announcement of candidates list for the ensuing elections as those who will not get tickets will bring their respective parties down,” Kodali Nani said.

Sharmila has now entered into Andhra Pradesh politics because she is vying for the top job. She had floated a political party (YSRTP) in Telangana claiming to fulfill the aspirations of late YSR and later she merged her party with Congress and along with it her political aspirations in Telangana.

“What will you get when you merge a party with zero percent vote share (YSRTP) with 1 percent vote share Congress?” asked Kodali adding that it will not help her if she continues to criticise the YSRCP only for political gains.

The Congress chief is now talking about the Vizag Steel Plant and Polavaram project. She stayed away from active politics during 2014 and 2019 elections and now suddenly appeared on the political scene days ahead of elections. How can Sharmila solve the problems of the state without connecting with the people at the grassroot level?, he added.
