Man Commits Suicide Over Household Disputes

Khammam: In a fit of anger, a married man committed suicide by consuming pesticide in Enkoor on Monday. According to the details given by police, Gugulothu Ramesh (33) resident of Bhagwan Naik Thanda. He is a Vidya volunteer in a local school. He had a troubled marriage and his wife went to her parents' home over a recent dispute.
However, the couple seemed happy on Sunday, when Ramesh visited her wife, Anusha, at her parents' residence in Manuguru to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The next morning, Ramesh alone returned to Bhagwan Naik Thanda, where he wrote a note blaming his wife Anusha and mother-in-law Vijaya for his suicide, before reaching Enkoor to purchase the pesticide.

"Ramesh went to a local palm oil field to consume the pesticide and commit suicide. He died instantly in the fields. We are probing the incident based on a case filed by Ramesh's mother Bani alleging that Anusha and her mother's harassment led to his extreme step," SI Thota Nagaraju said.
