Top 5 Mahesh Movies That Crossed One Crore Collections In Sudarshan Theatre

Director Vamsi Paidipally’s 'Maharshi' featured Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Mahesh Babu stole the show with his outstanding performance in triple roles as a college goer, entrepreneur and a farmer. Pooja Hegde who got a chance to feature opposite Mahesh in 'Maharshi' made everyone sit up and take notice of her.

'Maharshi' was well received by audiences and has set cash registers ringing ever since it opened in theatres. Within two days 'Maharshi' will complete 50 days of its theatrical run in 215 centres in Telugu states and other parts of the country.

Mahesh Babu has a huge fan base and they are planning to celebrate the occasion with a cake cutting ceremony. Still, the film is on spree and the latest we hear is 'Maharshi' has crossed Rs 1 Cr alone in Sudarshan 35MM theatre in Hyderabad. Not only that, it is Mahesh Babu’s fifth movie after 'Pokiri, 'Okkadu', 'Murari' and 'Athadu'.

So far, 15 Telugu movies have crossed Rs 1 Cr gross in this theatre out of which five are of Mahesh Babu. People considered Sudarshan 35MM theatre as Mahesh Babu’s fort.

On the career front, Mahesh Babu is prepping for his role in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and he is going to essay the role of an Army officer, for the first time. Rashmika would be seen as the female lead and the movie will be directed by Anil Ravipudi.
