Saaho Vs Sye Raa For Independence Release: Prabhas Or Chiranjeevi?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s forthcoming flick Sye Raa is one of the most awaited films of the year. Ram Charan is the producer of the film and working relentlessly on the film. Chiranjeevi and filmmakers are not leaving any stone unturned to deliver the film on time and also make it a blockbuster hit. It is learnt that Chiranjeevi is confident about the content of the film. In one of the interviews during Rangasthalam, Chiranjeevi is believed to have said that Sye Raa will break Rangasthalam.

Mega fans and audiences are waiting desperately for the film to hit the big screens. The wait could be longer for the film. Initially, Sye Raa was supposed to be released in the month of January to encash the festival weekend. Latest news doing the rounds is that Sye Raa is likely to be postponed from January to August because of some pending work on the film. Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa shifting the release date has now become a threat to Prabhas's upcoming flick Saaho. Actually, it was confirmed by some reliable sources that Saaho is set to be released on August 15. Prabhas and Chiranjeevi are keen to release their films on August 15 to cash in on the holiday season as well as the Independence day sentiment. However, now there seems to be a clash between the duo over the release date.

Apparently, they wouldn't be competing with each other at the box office. Sye Raa and Saaho are said to be made with a whopping budget of above Rs 300 Crores. Besides, neither Chiranjeevi or Prabhas have officially declared the release date of the film. Whoever announces the release date first will mean that the other party must adjust the dates accordingly to ensure smooth run at the ticket window for both the films. There are high chances that the Chiranjeevi film could be released as per schedule as his birthday falls in the same month—August 11. Sye Raa in theatres on Chiru's birthday couldn't get bigger for mega fans. It seems Chiranjeevi is going to disappoint Prabhas fans.

Sye Raa is helmed by Surender Reddy and also boasts of a dream cast including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan and few others. Saaho is directed by Sujeeth and it marks the first film of Prabhas after Baahubali series. Obviously, expectations are be sky high. Let’s see who will step back from the Independence Day Race to make way for the other.
