'Disputes damage both the states'

Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu accused the Telangana government of taking its decisions unilaterally.

“Legal positions and the constitutional spirit are being given a go by. We condemn the attitude of Telangana government,” said Yanamala.

He said both the states have a responsibility of solving their disputes amicably.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Monday, he said, “Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao had played a key role in the preparation of A.P.Reorganisation -2014 bill. Such a person can’t oppose the same act now. TDP leaders were not consulted before forming the bill. KCR is trying to get benefit by creating disputes. All will suffer due to the disputes.”
