Lover Stalks Girl To Rape Her For Refusing Love

Bengaluru: A man was arrested for attempting to rape two girls in Belthangady of Karnataka on Wednesday.

According to reports, the accused Thomas was harassing a girl to reciprocate his feelings for some time. Though the girl repeatedly refused his love, Thomas did not stop pursuing. He would even stalk her. On Wednesday, the girl, along with her sister, boarded an auto to Gandibagi from Aneyuru.

Thomas followed the auto in his pick up truck and hit it from the rear after the auto reached an isolated place. The auto driver fell unconscious and Thomas attempted to rape the girl. The accused also tried to rape her sister who came to her rescue.

However, the two girls managed to escape from the culprit and lodged a complaint with the police against Thomas. The police caught hold of him and is probing the matter.
