Chiru To Woo Chinese Audience With Sye Raa

Megastar Chiranjeevi is eyeing to expand his market not only in India but also in other countries. Chiru is currently busy with the shoot of his forthcoming flick Sye Raa which is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by his Ram Charan. This likely to be another magnum opus film after Baahubali franchise and it is also a period drama, based on the life of freedom fighter from Rayalaseema, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

In the latest development, Chiranjeevi Sye Raa would shoot of the crucial scenes in China. Did you know that Bollywood films are ruling the box office even in China. Aamir Khan's Dangal which was released last year in China did very good business at the box office. Recently, Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released and it is reported to be doing well at the box office. It is inching towards a new record of overtaking Aamir Khan's Dangal box office collections in China.

It is learnt that Sye Raa makers are thinking that Chinese people would appreciate this film. And if this is true it is a great opportunity for Telugu films tapping the Chinese market. Hopefully it happens as being imagined.

Chiru and the makers of the movie are in talks to release in China as well. The film has an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu and Nayanthara. It is a huge budget film which is being made around Rs 150 crores. The release date of the film is yet to be finalised, and it is not clear if they will release simultaneously in China as well.
