Chandrababu Wants To Approach Court Against His Own Government: YSRCP

Hyderabad: Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is misleading the people of Andhra Pradesh by stating that he will approach the court against the central government, YSRCP senior leader Ambati Rambabu said.

Addressing the media here on Friday, he said Chandrababu Naidu stated that if the central government does not implement the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act he would take legal recourse. "His statement amounts to going to court against his own government. How will he explain going to court when the TDP government has an alliance with the central government," Rambabu questioned on the occasion.

The YSRCP leader also stated that the AP chief minister has made no effort since four years to get special status for the state. "This is evident from the comments made by NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar," Rambabu said. It maybe recalled that Rajiv Kumar said that the state might not require handholding support to surmount the problems caused by the bifurcation.
