Chandrababu Cheating People, Trying To Protect Himself: Protester

Guntur: YSR Congress Party Chief and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's historic outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra continued on its 118th day from the outskirts of Guntur district's Chilakaluripeta. The Yatra reached Kavuru through Polireddypadu, YSR Colony, Kondrupadu, Lingamguntla and Apparao Cross. The mass leader attracted scores of people all along his padayatra.

Youth were seen holding placards with the Special Category Status (SCS) slogans, in support of the YSRCP Chief's continuous fight for SCS. YS Jagan also received the support of senior citizens for his revolt against the TDP government to achieve the SCS to AP. When he reached Ankireddypalem, protesters who were participating in the National Highway blockage, people from all walks of life joined YS Jagan in the padayatra while continuing to block the highways. They expressed their support in YSRCP President's endeavour to get AP awarded the SCS.

The Opposition Leader interacted with them and sought to hear their problems as well as difficulties faced by the people for over the last four years. "Chandrababu is politicizing the SCS issue. He is playing with the lives of crores of people in the state, by joining hands with the centre in order to protect himself from the court cases. We will be with you in the fight until we achieve the Special Category Status," a protester explained to the leader. The mass leader held the SCS placards, which rejuvenated the protesters.
