Bhuma Nagireddy shifted to Kurnool hospital - Sakshi Post

Arrested YSRCP senior leader Bhuma Nagireddy has been shifted from Allagadda sub-jail to Kurnool Government General Hospital in view of his health condition.

Bhuma has an open heart surgery in the past and is suffering from hypertension.

Though Bhuma and his daughter and MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya wanted him to the shifted to NIMS in Hyderabad, the police produced him before the magistrate and shifted him to Kurnool hospital.

Bhuma was accused of behaving in a brash manner against the police and cases were slapped under sections of 353 and 506 of the IPC. An SC, ST case also has been registered against Bhuma Nagireddy. He was arrested while trying to fight the TDP's blatant effort to win the local body MLC elections by any means. Bhuma opposed the attempts of the TDP activists to promote cross voting.

During this period, the police reportedly misbehaved with Bhuma's daughter and MLA Akhilapriya. This incensed Bhuma, who entered into heated arguments with the police officials.
