AP Assembly debate: YS Jagan endures 17 interruptions!

The YSRCP on Monday criticised AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and said he was not following well-laid out norms while conducting the proceedings of the house.

“The Speaker is flouting the practices that are normally followed in the house,” said YSRCP MLAs G Srikanth Reddy, David Raju, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and R.Prasada Reddy.

They said that Speaker adjourned the house when the Opposition Leader Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy was still speaking in the house. “The way the Speaker has adjourned the house is hurting,” said the MLAs.

They said that TDP legislators had interrupted the speech of Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy for as many as 17 times.

The MLAs requested the speaker to act impartially and allow Y.S.Jagan to resume his speech on Tuesday.

They found fault with the behavior of TDP MLAs in the house.

“Only agenda of the ruling party appears to be to corner and attack Jagan,” YSRCP MLAs said.
