Dejected TDP Workers Create Ruckus Near AP CM’s Residence

TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu's qoes have clearly not ended though party tickets have been allocated and the process of nominations has begun.

Dissent is raging within the ruling party and party workers and leaders show up at the chief minister's doorstep every day demanding their pound of flesh. Some want a candidate who is unpopular in their perception to be changed while others are aspirants themselves.

For instance, in the Macherla Assembly constituency, a group of dissidents opposed to Annappureddy Anjireddy have been protesting in front of the CM's residence for the second day.

They have been cautioning the party leadership against giving the Macharla ticket to Anji Reddy and have said that if he goes ahead and files his nomination, they will make every effort to block him from doing so.

Party workers fume at the fact that tickets are being given to those who do not have membership of the party ignoring the hard work put in by many leaders over the years.

Chandrababu preferred Anji Reddy over Kummareddy Cheramareddy who had nurtured the constituency for five years.
