Pawan Kalyan Holds A Mirror To Hyprocite Chandrababu’s Doublespeak On Congress

Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan - Sakshi Post

Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan hit out at TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s new-found love for the Congress party by holding a mirror to his own stance towards the grand old party in the recent past. Pawan took the timeline of Chandrababu’s hypocrisy all the way back to December 2009 when he accused the Congress party at the Centre at the time of taking up bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh without consulting and pacifying all stakeholders. The AP CM had termed it as a unilateral decision on the part of Congress which led to anarchy in the state.

In yet another instance in June 2010, Pawan quotes Chandrababu Naidu as having said that the TDP would oppose the Congress tooth and nail. He had then threatened to give Sonia Gandhi sleepless nights. At that time also, he said that he was not a new player to national politics as he had wielded considerable clout in Delhi for nine years. He also vowed to take more active part in national politics to give Sonia Gandhi nightmares.

Six months later, Chandrababu alleged that the Congress chief was obsessed with money. He accused the Congress of looting the country to the extent of Rs 1 lakh crores in 2G Spectrum, commonwealth games among other scams. Congress has siphoned off Rs 1.6 lakh crores in the 2G scam, he alleged then.

Similarly in November 2010, the AP chief minister accused the Congress of being mired in scams. He had questioned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s silence over the raging scandals the party was involved in. He also branded the Congress as the curse on the nation. The TDP chief had accused the Congress party of funneling away Rs 450 lakh crores. He also accused the Congress of nurturing a poisonous culture. All that Sonia Gandhi was interested in, he alleged, was party funds and she would encourage the worst form of corruption towards this end.

Pawan Kalyan also quoted Chandrababu Naidu as saying that Sonia Gandhi was only familiar with Italian justice. The people of Andhra Pradesh demanded Indian form of justice, he said back then.

In November 2013, Chandrababu Naidu accused the Congress party of taking up the bifurcation of the state in the most chaotic manner as if the party was determined to wreak havoc on the people of the Telugu speaking state.

In 2013, the TDP supreme described the Congress president and Rahul Gandhi as the architects of scams. He also questioned how Sonia’a son-in-law Robert Vadra grew into a business tycoon with assets of over Rs 15000 crores when he started out as a small businessman. He also called Sonia Gandhi the anaconda of corruption.

Around the time of bifurcation of the state in March 2014, Chandrababu Naidu breathed fire and brimstone at Sonia Gandhi saying that she should be driven out of the country because she was behaving vengefully towards the Telugus. She had unscientifically divided the state of Andhra Pradesh to make Rahul the Prime Minister, said the TDP chief, adding that the war cry of Quit Sonia and Quit Congress should be sounded across the state. Interestingly, Chandrababu Naidu also predicted that Rahul Gandhi would never become the Prime Minister in his life. Sonia Gandhi, the Italian Mafia is a Godse for the Telugus who was unfamiliar with our culture, he had said back then!

Meanwhile, the YSR Congress Party posted a video showcasing Chandrababu Naidu's many tongues and hydra-headed utterances, his moral elasticity and peerless opportunism.
