The contrast between late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu as chief ministers, upholding the dignity of their office could not be more glaring than seen in their reactions to two life-threatening attacks.

The political colossous that he was, Dr YSR, sat on a silent protest near the Gandhi status in Tirupathi against the Maoist attack on the AP chief minister.

Observers and the people at large find Chandrababu Naidu's inhuman reaction, uncivilised and highly deplorable. It must be pointed out that a flexi relating to Dr YSR's silent protest came up in Lakshmipuram circle of Tirupati on Saturday as a protest against Chandrababu Naidu's crass reaction. The photo of late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy sitting in silent protest in Tirupati at that time went viral in social media circles. Netizens were seen highlighting the contrast between the two leaders. One, who strode the political stage like a giant and the other a pygmy in public life who tries to project himself as a man of experience.
