Tadipatri Tense Over Muchukota Water Row

Anantapur : There was palpable tension in Tadipatri town, over a protest march led by YSRCP local coordinator, KethiReddy Pedda Reddy pleading for the release of water to Muchukota reservoir. The protest was organised to mark the crossing of 3000 km by YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The protest was was objected to by over zealous policemen. The police not only broke up the march but also arrested Pedda Reddy.

Police forces in large numbers had been waiting since the early morning here at the MuchuKota village. All the YSRCP leaders from Tadipatri constituency had been arrested earlier. YSRCP state members Ramesh Reddy, Paila Narsimhayya were placed under house arrest. Pedda Reddy heavliy came down upon such acts of the TDP government. He also added that he was on a peaceful march for which he is being arrested unnecessarily.
