Akkineni Nagarjuna Injured On Officer Sets

Akkineni Nagarjuna is currently busy with the shoot of his forthcoming action flick titled Officer. The film is being directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The makers of the film were actually planning to release the film poster and release date by end of February. But,due to the sudden demise of Bollywood actress Sridevi, RGV has postponed it for a while. RGV admires Sridevi a lot and thus her death came as a severe blow to him because of which he even halted the shoot of his film for a day. He is still grappling with the news.

A day later, the makers released a poster from the film which has received a thumps up from the audience. If reports are to be believed, a latest news been the doing the rounds on social media suggests that Officer could be a copy of the Hollywood film Taken. On the other hand, a reliabe source informs us that Nagarjuna was injured on the sets of Officer. The unit have wrapped up the entire shoot except the climax scene.

Nagarjuna is believed to have joined the sets despite injury, if report doing the rounds is anything to go by. His left elbow seems to be hurt. Crucial scenes in Officer are yet to be shot.

Nagarjuna's Officer is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and it is bankrolled by Sudeer Chandra and Ram Gopal Varma under the banner R Company. Nagarjuna will be essaying the role of a police officer who plays be an encounter specialist. The first look poster has received a good response from the audiences and public alike who can't wait to get the first feel of the film from the trailers and teaser which are set to be out, soon.

Nagarjuna was last seen in Raju Garu Gadhi 2 which failed to impress the audiences. It did decent business at the box office. Nagarjuna has pinned hopes on this flick and is gearing up to enthrall the audiences with a new look in Officer.
