Hyderabad: TDP's 'Cash for Vote' plan boomeranged what with its top leader landing in jail and its leadership called into question.

Revanth Reddy with three others is accused for offering money to nominated Anglo Indian MLA Stephenson to cast his vote in favour of TDP. ACB court ordered 14 day judicial remand for the A1 Revanth Reddy, A2 Sebastian, A3 Arun and A4 Mathews.

Just days after its annual conclave Mahanadu and after announcing the party as national party, TDP is in soup for trying to buy MLAs to get its MLC candidate elected. The council poll for 6 MLC seats has 7 candidates in fray. As TDP is lagging in support with few of its leaders leaving the party at the last note, it began luring the other party MLA's. Based on Stephenson's complaint, the ACB sleuths trapped Revanth Reddy and arrested him.
